How hard is it going to be to get El Clásico tickets?
So I am interested in going to the first El Clásico in Barcelona this season on October 25th/26th, and I was wondering if it’s hard to get the tickets. I already put my email to be notified when they come out, but was wondering if they get sold immediately. And also if anyone has an estimate of the price? Thanks in advance submitted by /u/Ill-Organization9125 [link] [comments]

"Offense wins matches, defense wins tournaments" Spain are the only team who have not yet conceded at FIFAWC26. Cucu has been a wall throughout.
This is the same strategy they had used when they last won the world cup in 2010. They had only conceded only 2 goals in the entire tournament. But Lamine still doesn t look 100% and there is no support for him from the Spain frontline. Oyarzabal had such a meh performance against Portugal that i found myself screaming at screen multiple times 😡 submitted by /u/CorgiLarge2326 [link] [comments]

since suddenly everyone thinks cubarsi was underperforming cos of martin
people are suddenly acting like gerard martín was the reason cubarsi struggled last season, but that completely ignores what was actually happening on the pitch. the biggest challenge under hansi flick has never been one individual defender. it has always been adapting to one of the most aggressive high line systems in world football. when the press works, the defence looks unbeatable. when one player is late or the midfield loses shape, the defenders are left covering huge spaces behind them. that is why blaming a young academy defender makes very little sense. la masia defenders are taught t

How seriously do you take the Spanish Super Cup?
Scottish Celtic fan here with a soft spot for Barca (big Messi fan + my first European game was that 2-1), curious about how seriously the Super Cup is taken. I know in England the Community shield is basically a glorified friendly, but in Spain it’s four teams, mid season, and for Barca to win it usually means beating Real Madrid (Celtic could be playing rangers at rock paper scissors and I’d be dying to beat them so I assume that adds something). Obviously it’s not as big as the league, cup or Europe, but how big is it? How much do you celebrate when you win/care when you lose? submitted by

Maybe I’m overreacting, but isn’t this a bit concerning, considering the huge price he has?
At 26 he is not a starter with his national team and even when he play he provides nothing special. Considering Barca is planning to spend 130-150M for him and considering he is not a pure striker. Do you think he is worth that investment also when we take in consideration our financial situation these past few years. What do you guys think? submitted by /u/Constant_Ask_8039 [link] [comments]

Is the pope a Real Madrid fan? Leo’s admission upsets Barcelona faithful
Pontiff appeals in Catalan for harmony on Barcelona leg of Spain tour after making football foes in city To the delight of many, Pope Leo XIV kicked off the Barcelona leg of his week-long visit to Spain with a few words in Catalan, calling on the faithful who had gathered in the city’s cathedral on Tuesday “to build harmony and communion beyond all polarisation”. The pontiff’s familiar and commendable plea for people to set aside their differences may, however, have come a little late. Three days earlier, while chatting to journalists on the flight to Spain, Leo had made an awkward confession.

This week’s soccer questions: where next for Arsenal and did Liverpool fumble Slot’s departure?
We look at Mikel Arteta’s next steps, Liverpool potentially missing out on an old flame and Anthony Gordon’s move to Barcelona The margins were so narrow that Arsenal might have finished Saturday as European champions had Gabriel Magalhães not skied his penalty in the shootout . Similarly, the Champions League trophy may have ended up in their grasp had Cristhian Mosquera stopped himself from tripping Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to give Paris Saint-Germain a way back after the Gunners had taken an early lead. Marcus Rashford heads to World Cup in limbo despite proving his value to Barcelona
Forward has generally thrived at the Camp Nou but Gordon’s arrival plus his salary and United’s transfer demands mean next move is not obvious The next chapter of Marcus Rashford’s dysfunctional relationship with Manchester United may involve a long summer waiting to discover where he plays next season. A state of limbo for a forward expected to start England’s World Cup opener against Croatia on 17 June in Dallas is an unusual predicament. Yet this is the latest juncture in a period of career uncertainty that began when the former United head coach Ruben Amorim excluded Rashford from his firs
